above: locations of all photos stored in the Flickr database that are geolocated UK and are tagged with at least one of the scene types ‘Beach’, ‘Hill’, ‘Mountain’ or ‘Village’. Each point is coloured according to its easting and northing. The spatial treemap shows the same 50,000 photo locations using an identical colouring scheme.
